WHAT TO EXPECT

From the moment you arrive, you'll be welcomed with open arms. Find a seat, settle in, and feel at home as we worship together. Our Sunday service is filled with joyful praise, heartfelt prayer, and an inspiring message from our pastors. After service, we invite you to visit our free food pantry—because we’re here to serve our community.

OUR PURPOSE

Founded in 2000, Pastors Tommy and Sharon Avinger set out to establish Deland Open Bible Church to help reach their local community. Over 25 years later, they have built a strong foundation here in Central Florida, serving their community and spreading the love of Christ.

We exist to glorify God and lead people to Jesus Christ. Everything we do—our worship, activities, and ministries—flows from this purpose.

We care deeply about people, including you. Through our ministries, we support spiritual, emotional, physical, and social needs, reflecting the joy of knowing God's love.

Our mission is to know and serve God, worship with joy, and live in faith. We trust in Him to guide us through the challenges of today and tomorrow.
